Don’t cheat. This goes without saying for 999 out of 1000 students (hopefully even more!) but cheating is not the way to score high on the SAT exam. Not only do you sacrifice your integrity and trustworthiness, you do yourself the huge disfavor of taking something you did not earn, and I guarantee that it will catch up with you sooner or later.
After waiting one to two weeks for your results to come back, you would be naturally excited, or at least inquisitive to see your results. Have you done well and/or better than you expected? Have you done worse than you have thought? Either way, read your examiner’s comments at least three times. See what they liked about your piano examination and what they didn’t. No matter how well you did, you can always improve! Next year’s exams are guaranteed to be harder than this year.
Math problems in standardized tests are almost always in the objective multiple choice question form. The Grid-in questions in the SAT Exam are an exception. The usual format includes a description of problem with one or more useful piece of information. A question statement follows the given information. Then the problem is followed by 4 or 5 answer choices.
I will say it again, RELAX! Try not to think about your exam. Don’t try to think about your theory, scales, pieces, fingering etc. etc. Don’t think about what you have and haven’t done for your exam. This is only going to get you all frazzled and this will seriously hinder your exam.
There’s more to PMP Best SAT Prep than just taking practice exams. You can also use a PMP simulator to help you learn. In learning mode, you can get hints for the questions, or you can see the answer to the question. This is useful if you want to consolidate what you have learned so far.
You can purchase either SAT study guide online at most retailers or online at places like Amazon. Knowing how your vocabulary is tested is vital to your performance on the exam. You should take the practice exams just like you would a real test, by following all the rules and timing issues exactly as they are stated in the book.
The test makers are not looking to make your job easy. Keep that in mind. If an answer looks completely obvious, never just pick that answer and move on. Always think it through, because it may be a trick. The only way to avoid these types of questions is to make sure that you carefully read every problem on the SAT or ACT exam, even the “easy” ones.
