Everyone needs to know they are loved but in some family dynamics, it can be uncomfortable to voice this feeling aloud, which brings me to the opposite end of the spectrum; when you love someone but for any number of various reasons, you don’t feel comfortable expressing it. No matter how hard you may try, sometimes the words just catch in your throat and they won’t emerge for fear of…what? Fear of rejection? Yes, sometimes. Fear of being laughed at? Yes, sometimes.
